On May 23rd, CMT’s own Greg Huntley, PE graduated from the Greater Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Springfield program. Greg, a Senior Engineer in CMT’s Aviation Services Unit, served on a team with other graduates that developed a plan for a new program at the United Way of Central Illinois that hosts mini-libraries within local laundromats. The plan included how to find and set-up locations, recruit volunteers to maintain the program and criteria to measure impact. We are proud of Greg’s participation in this program and in continuing CMT’s leadership role in the City of Springfield, IL.
Leadership Springfield is an interactive professional development program where participants gain leadership skills, grow their network and interact with community decision-makers to address critical issues affecting the Springfield community.
