Route 367 Freeway Conversion
Metro St. Louis, Missouri

ORd

CMT was selected by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) for the state's first consultant-led construction inspection project after the firm demonstrated the cost benefits on similar projects in Illinois. A flexible staffing strategy developed by CMT was instrumental in MoDOTs decision to request this new type of service delivery.

The project consisted of 2.1 miles of new freeway construction along Route 367 in the St. Louis Metro region. Heavy traffic and high accident frequency led to the major improvements that also included four bridges and two miles of segmental retaining walls. Feedback from the public in the heavily developed area was positive across the board, and the project was delivered on budget and 250 days ahead of schedule.

ribbonThe Missouri/Kansas chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association gave the Route 367 project its top award in the urban highway category.
