Scheels All Sports/Legacy Pointe Development
SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS
CMT is providing project and construction management services for the premier 272-acre Legacy Pointe Town Center development located in Springfield, IL. The development is anchored by the Scheels All Sports center, a regional destination store that is expected to attract a large retail base that will lure other stores to the area.
CMT worked closely with the entire project team to assist in completion of the first phase of the development. During this time, the firm administered more than seven construction contracts totaling over $9 million to complete the necessary infrastructure, and collaborated with two additional design engineering firms to facilitate the planning and permitting process. Other responsibilities included client and utility coordination, site permitting, construction phasing and oversight, QA/QC services, management of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance program, and QC/QA for the engineering of the entire development.
As the development continues to spur economic growth by attracting new tenants, CMT looks forward to providing valuable services to Legacy Pointe Development Company.
