JUN 27, 2011: Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. (CMT) continued to make positive gains over the past year despite the troubled economy. Proof of that success can be seen on the latest ranking of Top 500 design firms, where CMT jumped 26 spots to number 214. The ranking, that is compiled and published by ENR magazine, is based on revenues from the past year.
"I am pleased that CMT is continuing its tradition of steady growth of the firm since its inception in 1946,” said Brian Whiston, CEO.
Since 2008, CMT has risen over 100 spots in the ENR rankings. It’s a testament to the firm’s ability to navigate a tumultuous marketplace, along with the hard work and dedication of its employees.
"We are grateful to our many loyal clients who have shared a professional relationship with us over the years as well as the new clients who have recently entrusted us with their projects. Their satisfaction is the true measure of CMT’s success,” Whiston added.
In addition to the national rankings, ENR also publishes a list of top firms based on regional revenues. In the Midwest ranking, CMT placed along side some of the top firms in the country by coming in at the number 11 spot. CMT’s strong showing against competitors much larger in size is evidence of the firm’s strong Midwest roots and national-caliber capabilities.
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is a full-service consulting firm focused on four markets: aviation, highways and bridges, water and wastewater, and land development. CMT provides planning, design, and construction observation phase services on projects that range from simple to complex.
