06/22/2012: CMT was recently named one the top ten design firms in the Midwest, joining a list dominated by some of the largest firms in the world. Engineering News Record (ENR) releases rankings annually based on Midwest generated revenues from the previous 12 months. This year's results, which were published in May, confirm that CMT is one of the most sought-after consultants in the Midwest and are competing toe-to-toe with firms that have up to 150 times more employees.
"CMT is recognized for our stability and our deep roots in the Midwest. Our talented staff allows us to provide highly-responsive service and maintain long-standing relationships with many clients." said Brian Whiston, CEO of CMT.
In addition to the overall top 10 Midwest ranking, CMT was ranked number three in the water supply category, number four in civil engineering and number eight in transportation. In the state-by-state breakdown, CMT came in at number five in Illinois and number eight in Missouri.
"We'd like to thank our clients for our strong performance during these tough economic times. We've worked hard to provide them cost-saving solutions to help them cope with diminished budgets, and they've rewarded us by continuing to select CMT for their projects," said Dan Meckes, CMT President.
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly is a full-service consulting firm focused on four markets: aviation, highways and bridges, water and wastewater, and land development. CMT provides planning, design, and construction observation phase services on projects that range from simple to complex.
