As Surface Transportation project manager, Jay is passionate about earning the trust and respect of his clients. “For me, the best part of my job is when a client feels proud that they hired CMT.”
Examples of how Jay does this are found in the repeated occasions of discovery that illuminate solutions that save construction dollars; surprising clients by delivering months ahead of schedule; or simply by making a client’s job easier. “It’s always fun to get to know our clients and their varying personalities and hot buttons. Our job is to make the people who hire us want to hire us again and entrust us with their design budgets and schedules.”
“I have had the opportunity to focus on several high-profile and coordination-driven projects,” says Jay, who led the Park Over the Highway project that started the transformation of the Gateway Arch National Park in downtown St. Louis. This is just one example of his project experience that include complex urban corridor revitalization projects and a host of highway improvements.
