Downtown St. Louis has seen some major improvements to its infrastructure in recent years. The new Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Mississippi River created a new gateway into the city. And now the land bridge that will connect the Gateway Arch grounds and new museum entrance over I-44 to the downtown area is open to pedestrians. Changes are happening fast, although not quite as quickly as this time-lapse video of the land bridge construction.
CMT is proud to have led the Park Over the Highway (POTH) project on behalf of the Missouri Department of Transportation, a key part of the grand undertaking being led by the CityArchRiver group. And we’re proud of our work as project manager for the New Mississippi River Bridge (MRB) I-70 Interchange project. But most of all, we’re proud to have an office in downtown St. Louis where we can be a part of this wonderful transformation being made to a great American city.
