EXPERIENCED CIVIL ENGINEER
Location: Aurora, IL

(CMT), headquartered in Springfield, Illinois, is a firm with over 270 employees which ranks among our nation’s top engineering firms.  Founded in 1946, with locations to included Aurora, Peoria, Rockford, Chicago and Edwardsville, IL; St. Louis and Springfield, MO; Indianapolis, IN; and Columbus, OH, our projects are primarily civil in nature, but also include significant assignments in the environmental, structural, and electrical disciplines.   Our Highway & Bridge projects include working with a large transportation agency or a local community, developing original designs to meet the needs of our clients based on their specific needs providing comprehensive services covering all facets of planning, design, construction observation and start-up. 

CMT is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with minimum of 3 years of experience in the design of street and transportation projects with preferred experience in IL.  Candidate with a P.E. or ability to be licensed in Illinois within one year is required. Strong technical and computer skills required, with MicroStation experience desirable. Strong communication skills required. IDOT project experience a plus. The successful candidate will also possess a strong team approach, flexibility to adjust as project and workload demands change, and the ability to work independently.
