Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar has been dubbed the king of casual dining, one of the fastest growing segments in the restaurant industry. In CMT, the chain has found a reliable regional land development consultant that is able to keep pace with their aggressive strategy for growth. Since 2002, we have partnered with Applebee’s on more than 25 new restaurants in Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee.

CMT provides site construction documents and is responsible for geotechnical and environmental investigations. Since many Applebee’s restaurants are constructed in new developments, the projects must adhere to numerous codes and regulations. Our ability to coordinate effectively with municipalities and other governing agencies to obtain the necessary permits has proved to be a major asset in expediting development. In 2005, Applebee’s turned to CMT for assistance in updating their Engineering Manual, which includes standard plans for each of their building prototypes. CMT has also provided numerous conceptual plans and stormwater designs when required.
