ACEC Indiana Award Ceremony

CMT served as the prime consultant on the I-65 and Worthsville Road Interchange Project that earned a Merit Award from ACEC-Indiana in their annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition.

“INDOT has been committed to doing more for less and we’re proud that we were able to help them achieve that with this project,” said Adam Burns, PE, CMT’s project manager. “CMT would also like to thank our peers at the ACEC for providing us this honor.”

CMT was selected by INDOT and the City of Greenwood to develop plan documents to support a new access interchange at Worthsville Road along Interstate 65. CMT successfully met INDOT’s challenge of completing the effort within a tight 15-month schedule, and providing solutions that ultimately resulted in saving of $4.3 million on the $22 million project. The project also featured the first new access Diverging Diamond Interchange constructed in Indiana.
