At the end of June, CMT’s Springfield, MO office participated in the 25th Annual Day of Caring event through the United Way of the Ozarks. We had seven CMT volunteers at this year’s event. Our assignment? To paint a 30-foot house boat at YMCA-Camp Wakonda. The boat was a donation made to the camp. The boat will serve 2 purposes for the Camp:
- To use for a team building exercise titled “Stranded on the Amazon.”
- Reward for campers; they are remodeling the inside to accompany 3 bunk beds.
