Warren Knoles with SAVE Moderator

Continuing to find new ways to help extract more value out of transportation projects, CMT’s Warren Knoles, PE, VMA, has developed a pioneering approach to promote savings after construction.  The idea for the process was in response to a national decline in Value Engineering Change Proposals (VECPs) within US state departments of transportation.  Following completion of a six-project pilot program for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) to test the process, he was invited by SAVE International®, the premier international society devoted to advancing and promotion the Value Methodology, to present a paper about the pilot program at the 2017 SAVE VE Summit in August 2017.

Mr. Knoles was also asked to write an article for the October issue of SAVE’s monthly publication “Value World.”
