Kristin Timmons, PE of CMT has been named Outstanding Engineer of the Year by Capital Chapter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE.) She was presented with the award at the 2018 National Engineer’s Week Banquet on February 24, 2018.
“Kristin is a leader in transportation engineering by successfully providing professional engineering services and accommodating client’s expectations while satisfying their budget constraints,” said Stan Hansen, Vice President and Surface Transportation Group Manager, Springfield, IL. He continued, “She has demonstrated great interest and leadership to the engineering community by serving on the Executive Committee at both the local and state level and is currently the President-Elect for ISPE.”
Kristin began working at CMT in 1999, right after graduating from Bradley University with a degree in civil engineering. She serves as a Transportation Engineer for the Surface Transportation Unit. She has experience in transportation planning and design, serving as project engineer and project manager on several state, county and municipal projects.
