Volunteering for United Way of Central Illinois’ Day of Action from CMT were Roger Austin, Brad Hamilton, Henry Schmitz, Grace Kurcab, Jen Langheim, Christy Crites, and Chris Smith. Our team was charged with the clean-up of the Springfield Park District’s Riverside Park in Springfield, IL. Park District employees were there to provide clean-up tools and CMT’s volunteers walked Riverside Park picking up trash — on a beautiful day (Friday, September 27).
Thanks to our local United Way for coordinating this area-wide volunteer effort.
