Congratulations to CMT’s Jerry Bollinger, PE, PTOE, who was recognized as Transportation Professional of the Year by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Great Lakes District during their 2021 Annual Meeting in Columbus, OH.

ITE established the Transportation Professional of the Year Award to recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Great Lakes District, their Section, and ITE, or through achievements in the transportation profession. Sharing in this honor is Nick Erpelding, from SRF Consulting Group, who was also honored as a Transportation Professional of the Year.

Jerry’s involvement with ITE started at Purdue, where he was the social events coordinator for the student chapter. After joining CMT, Jerry expanded his involvement to various ITE Indiana and Great Lakes District committees, including serving on the scholarship golf outing committee, volunteering as Collegiate Traffic Bowl Coordinator, and currently serving his third year on ITE Indiana’s Board of Directors.
