Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc. named six team members as new associates at the firm’s most recent board of directors meeting. As associates, the employees are eligible for stock ownership in the privately held corporation.

“Since CMT’s beginnings in 1946, we have been all about people – our clients, the people whose lives we aim to better through our work, and our unmatched team,” said CMT Chairman and CEO Dan Meckes. “As we name our newest associates, we are thrilled to take the opportunity to recognize our people and their contributions, thank them for the client-focused service they provide, and welcome them as stockholders. We extend our congratulations and appreciation to Andy, Paul, Julie, Mike, Tom, and Matt.”

CMT’s new associates are as follows:

Andy Bodine, PE, CM (AAAE) has over 10 years of professional experience in both the planning and engineering fields. His recent airport work spans from Kansas City, to St. Louis Lambert, to Airglades. In addition to managing a variety of planning projects that are setting the foundation for subsequent design and construction initiatives in emerging CMT geographies, Andy excels at driving team success and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Paul Ina, PE joined CMT in March 2019 with the acquisition of the Stone Engineering Group, where Paul was a partner. Paul came to CMT with over 30 years of experience in roadway, traffic, and drainage design for local governments in Florida and with the Florida DOT. He is the Florida Surface Transportation Group Manager and leads business development, project pursuits, and project development and delivery, as well as employee hiring and career development for CMT’s Jacksonville staff.

Julie Jenson, PE joined CMT in January 2018 following 17 years with the Kansas City, Mo., Water Services department. Julie has strong project management, technical, and constructability reviews skills in linear conveyance projects, water mains, and sanitary sewer collection systems. These skills are complemented by her focus on client service and strong relationships. She is active in several organizations including the Missouri chapters of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation, as well as the KC Chamber of Commerce.

Mike Mizeur, PLS brings 22 years of experience supporting clients and project teams with surveying and data acquisition services from field to finish and was recently named CMT’s Chief Land Surveyor. Mike has been instrumental in the ongoing adaption of new technology at CMT, including new software platforms, new equipment, and new services in geospatial surveying.

Tom Morris, PE, ENV-SP has over 15 years of experience in the CMT St. Louis aviation group. He has strong technical, project management, client management, and communications abilities, along with a strong track record of mentoring and growing younger staff into larger project roles. Notably, Tom has served as project and client manager for the Joplin Regional Airport for the past five years, as well as project manager for a $45 million taxiway and taxiway bridge project to serve a new 500-employee Boeing production facility at Mid-America Airport.

Matt Overbey, PE, PLS joined the firm in 2008 and has since been a growing leader within CMT’s Surface Transportation group, providing planning, design, survey, land acquisition, and construction services on numerous IDOT and local agency projects. Matt has also been influential in helping colleagues advance their 3-D corridor modeling techniques. He is a strong ambassador for CMT as a leader with the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE), where he now serves as a state-level officer, along with additional committee roles within ISPE.
