CMT would like to welcome Mark Mais, a new surface transportation engineer in our Springfield, MO office.
Mark has over 29 years of engineering experience in the public and private sector. Mark joined CMT following a 26-year career at the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) where he performed bridge design, roadway design, and most recently utility coordination. He served as the District Utilities Engineer (DUE) for the Southwest District for over 10 years.
While serving as the DUE, Mark was instrumental in delivering a wide range of projects from simple bridge replacements to extremely complex corridor expansion projects for MoDOT. He brings a vast understanding of roadway design parameters and knowledge of various utility standards.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
