CMT would like to welcome Eric Curtit, AICP, a rail service leader in our Springfield, MO office.
Eric brings 28 years of experience in transportation planning, railroads, and other modes of transportation. Previously, he served as the Transportation Planning Director at the Missouri Department of Transportation. In this role, he led the state’s planning division to improve transportation policy, system analysis, and system performance, while leading the creation of the state’s largest-ever construction program at $14 billion. Eric also led the department’s railroad efforts and was instrumental in modernizing how rail safety is performed. Eric also led the state’s passenger rail program. He has a wide range of experience in addressing transportation needs at the local, state, and national levels, and can identify innovative methods to accomplish transportation improvements. Eric has experience in bringing the right entities and individuals together to improve transportation.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in management, from Columbia College.
