ST. LOUIS – Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) was recently chosen to lead the St. Louis, MO, Citywide Transportation and Mobility Plan (TMP).
Key components of the plan will include a new transportation chapter to be adopted into the City’s Comprehensive Plan, a Safety Action Plan, a Street Typology Design Guide, and various policy and procedural updates across the City departments.
The City of St. Louis allocated $40 million in ARPA funding to be used toward transportation enhancements, including a new Citywide Mobility Plan. The TMP will be the City’s first such plan locally in decades. This will set a vision for mobility across St. Louis by establishing well-defined guiding principles, themes that reflect the values and desires of residents, improved project information for the public, and a wraparound prioritization of safety.
The project will commence in March 2024, with an approximate planning timeline of 18 months.
