In late 2023, CMT’s Air Service Development team hosted their inaugural Connections conference in beautiful Sonoma County, CA.
The intimate event had over 30 people in attendance, including airports from around the country and six major airlines.
In partnership with the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, participants learned from each other with presentations, networked over exclusive dinners, and explored some of the attractions that make Sonoma County so special.
“We had been hearing from our clients that they wanted a new way to engage with airline planners,” said Nicholas Haan, CMT’s Air Service Development Principal.
“Other events lack the opportunities to make meaningful connections and build strong relationships. We created CMT Connections from scratch to make every interaction count with the opportunity to engage with peers from both sides of the table.”

In a special announcement at the conference, American Airlines shared they would be bringing mainline aircraft to Sonoma County next summer, a top request for several years.
While this year’s event in Sonoma County will be tough to beat, the Air Service Development team at CMT looks forward to building even more Connections in the future in coordination with our partners across the industry.
