CMT would like to welcome Jonah Farran, an urban planner in our Peoria, IL, office.
Jonah joins CMT full-time after working as an intern for the firm over the past two summers. During his internship, he provided land use and transportation planning services for communities in Illinois and Missouri. This work included transportation plans, road safety audits, complete street policies, rezoning and annexation staff reports, site plans and subdivision reviews, creating zoning maps and future land use maps, and comprehensive plans. He has a passion for bringing together land use and transportation planning to create safe and people-oriented transportation systems that ultimately create vibrant communities.
Jonah earned his master’s degree in urban planning and a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. At Illinois, Jonah worked as a research assistant for the Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
