Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) holds company-wide meetings throughout the year to provide progress updates on strategic initiatives, share insights across disciplines and geographies, and recognize professional excellence and outstanding contributions to the firm. During the most recent meeting, CMT’s Recognition Committee, along with CMT CEO Bill Bailey, PE, SE, presented awards to deserving individuals. Firm leaders also highlighted milestone employment anniversaries, announced new professional certification recipients, and welcomed new team members and interns who joined CMT in the past year.

Based in the Indianapolis, IN, office, Dylan has shown exceptional resourcefulness through his participation in CMT’s Continuous Improvement Initiative (CI²), Employee Advisory Council, and CMT Academy. He has also contributed to the Joliet Alternative Water Source Program and makes an impact beyond the firm through his leadership within the Indiana Section American Water Works Association Young Professionals Committee.

Maddy Hatch

Based in CMT’s Cincinnati, OH, office, Maddy has made a company-wide impact by streamlining the environmental geographic information system (GIS) process. She has advanced knowledge sharing across the firm through Environmental Group trainings and GIS Community of Practice (CoP) sessions while also representing CMT at industry GIS conferences.

Stephanie Spence

Based in the firm’s Cincinnati, OH, office, Stephanie has become a trusted leader in CMT’s Environmental Group, advancing best practices and developing resources that enhance collaboration and efficiency across the firm. Her contributions include graduating from CMT Academy’s Professional Practices Program and enhancing client coordination, threatened and endangered species coordination, and traffic noise procedures.

Eric Winkelman, EI

CMT Recognition Program, Summer 2026

Eric is a valued member of the St. Louis, MO, Building & Site Services Group, bringing strong technical ability, professionalism, and a collaborative attitude to projects. Beyond his project work, he serves as vice president of the Engineers Without Borders Gateway Professional Chapter, helping lead the Greenwood Cemetery Road Restoration project and an upcoming water and sanitation project in Khasu, Bolivia.

This award recognizes team members with exceptional leadership qualities – people who inspire and motivate those around them. This recognition is bestowed upon individuals who display initiative in implementing transformative changes, as well as fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity throughout the organization.

Based in the firm’s Columbus, OH, office, Austin has expanded CMT’s environmental capabilities through initiatives such as launching the Wellness Employee Resource Group, leading CMT’s first acoustic bat survey, and helping develop a new Surface Supplied Air Protocol. Austin is a trusted leader within the Environmental Group and is actively involved with several Ohio wildlife organizations.

Cassie Lee, PE, PTOE

Cassie is a valued member of the St. Louis, MO, Surface Transportation Group, contributing to major efforts including the MoDOT Watson Road project and the City of St. Louis Transportation and Mobility Plan. She has advanced CMT’s technical excellence by serving on the Recognition Committee, contributing to the Traffic Engineering CoP, and taking part in CI² projects.

Betsy Meulendyke, PE

Based in CMT’s Indianapolis, IN, office, Betsy has driven major changes in the Indianapolis Surface Transportation Group by building a scalable OpenRoads Designer workspace from scratch to support digital delivery goals. Betsy’s other contributions include expanding CMT’s internal knowledge repository and earning an award for her work to support CMT’s CI² projects.

Dallas played a key role in elevating the Springfield, MO, Surface Transportation Group during the pursuit of a large Design-Build transportation project in Missouri. He combines side-by-side mentorship, remote coaching, and a commitment to empowering others. He also contributes to CMT’s Community of Practice Digital Delivery Training Group.

Paola Pringle

Paola has notably strengthened the Air Quality Group by breaking down complex concepts, such as emissions inventory development and advanced data analysis, into clear, repeatable steps for colleagues.
