Jefferson County Bicycle & Pedestrian Masterplan

Jefferson County (MO) Department of Public Works

To identify important routes for walking and biking in Jefferson County, MO, and prioritize key connections for future implementation, CMT’s project team was selected to develop the first ever countywide bicycle and pedestrian plan for the County.

This plan will foster a vision for more walkable and bikeable communities. It will also help advance important county objectives such as enhanced quality of life goals, future capital improvement plans, and the continued development of the County as a great place to live, work, and visit in the St. Louis region.

The team at CMT created the comprehensive bicycling and pedestrian masterplan, conducted roadway analysis, ensured ADA compliance, and provided general cost estimation. Additionally, CMT spearheaded an extensive public engagement process to ensure that the voices of the community were heard.
