On-Call Air Quality Support for Long-Time Client

On-Call Air Quality Services

Houston Airport System (HAS) | Houston, TX

Since 2014, CMT’s environmental team has provided air quality support services, including preparing air permitting and emissions data for Houston Airport System (HAS) at William P. Hobby (HOU), George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), and Ellington Airport Service Complex (EFD). Air quality support has included preparation of state-required air permits for stationary sources (e. g., Federal Enforceable Limits (FELs), and Permit by Rule (PBR)), reporting for the Mass Emissions Cap and Trade Program (MECT), preparation of air pollutant emission inventories, and field reconnaissance to identify all HAS stationary sources.

Our team has provided a wide array of services pertaining to air quality for HAS. Working with HAS staff and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), these assignments have helped ensure that the State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Houston-Galveston-Brazoria (HGB) non-attainment area contains accurate and up-to-date emission inventories for all three airports. This work has involved extensive data collection, knowledge of the airport environs, and stakeholder coordination.
