New Snow Removal Equipment and Maintenance Building
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT)’s aviation and architectural expertise combined to arrive at an efficient facility that provided additional capacity and functionality in the new 30,0000-square-foot snow removal equipment (SRE) storage and maintenance facility.
The building includes an 11-bay vehicle storage area with center drive aisle, maintenance bays, offices, break room, welding room, flammable storage, restrooms, sand and salt storage bays, and a storage mezzanine.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements includes a two-ton overhead traveling crane, suspended infrared radiant heaters, floor trench drains, oil/water separator, pneumatic maintenance equipment stations, generator set, security access control, exterior air/water station, and interior wash-down station.
Site improvements included the demolition of the existing SRE building, new access road and aprons, security fencing and gates, asphalt parking lots, site lighting, drainage and landscaping.
