CMT designed Missouri’s first multi-lane turbo roundabouts along Route 160 to improve safety and capacity. Partnering with MoDOT, driver simulation research ensured the design addressed behavior and safety concerns. The project reduced crashes and fatalities by widening the highway, adding pedestrian access, and implementing innovative intersections like J-Turns and CGTs.
