Quality of Place Practice Lead

With over 23 years of experience, Cassie brings a passion for design and planning in urban corridors, leading projects that catalyze transformative outcomes for the communities they are located in. Cassie’s focus over the past 12 years has been in what CMT calls “plan-gineering”—combining urban planning knowledge with the technical expertise to produce implementable plans and projects. Her work leading multi-discipline teams, coordinating with numerous clients and agencies, and conducting extensive community and stakeholder outreach has led to successful projects that revitalize the communities Cassie works with.

“I really love that area where the discipline of civil engineering merges with the creative realm of placemaking, sustainability, revitalization, and quality-of-life objectives,” she says.

Cassie brings an impressive portfolio of accomplishments, from her work as Project Manager on the award-winning Georgia Street Revitalization in Indianapolis (site of Super Bowl XLVI Village) to her leadership on a collaborative effort to renew a major corridor through Ferguson, Missouri. She has successfully implemented improvements throughout the Midwest in communities of all sizes.

Cassie was honored as the inaugural recipient of the 2019 WTS of Greater Indianapolis Woman of the Year!
