Air Quality Scientist/Meteorologist
As a degreed meteorologist, Justin brings unique expertise and perspective to the CMT environmental team. He specializes in air quality assessments, permitting of stationary sources, and meteorological studies applied to both stationary and mobile sources at power facilities and airports.
Justin’s specialized modeling experience includes the USEPA’s AERMOD, CALPUFF, NONROAD, and MOVES. He also has extensive experience working with ESRI ArcGIS and AutoCAD. Justin has developed stationary source air quality databases, and developed a keen sense for airport air quality permitting.
As a consultant, Justin has pioneered the art of preparing air pollutant dispersion analysis for airports using the FAA’s Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT). Through his efforts and coordination, the FAA and the developer of AEDT (Volpe National Transportation Systems) have been able to improve AEDT and resolve numerous issues associated with this recently released computer model.
When not studying the air, Justin likes spending time with his family, taking his boat out to fish, and hitting the links with his friends.
