Environmental Scientist
Marion Wells is an environmental scientist who enjoys the team approach to projects, believing that the diversity of experience and knowledge that CMT brings to the table results in great solutions for their clients.
“I love the team mentality here at CMT,” Marion says. “We all come together to work towards a common goal, then go above and beyond for our clients. This mentality fosters trust and creates a family atmosphere throughout the workplace.”
Marion is also a big believer in the value of her work – not just to her clients, but to the people, places and things that thrive in a healthy environment.
“I love making a difference in the communities that we live in through the projects that we work on. Whether we are designing a new trail to connect existing parks and communities, developing a mitigation plan to restore a natural area, or saving a mussel bed through relocation, we are improving both the natural areas and the communities that we live in.”
Marion specializes in mussel surveys, along with completing NEPA documents, permitting, mitigation plans, vegetation surveys, endangered species surveys, and stream and wetland assessments.
When not working to protect the environment, Marion likes to spend time enjoying it. She and her family are avid hikers and love nothing more than living the lake life.
