Senior Environmental Engineer/Air Quality Scientist

As a senior air quality scientist, Paola has conceived and developed processes for tracking and managing greenhouse gases emitted from airport operations and construction activities. Her expertise has been pivotal in her clients’ ability to win grants and fund efforts aimed at reducing or eliminating air emissions. Whether at a busy airport or a road construction site, Paola provides regulatory-sound solutions that align with project goals, resulting in very satisfied clients.

Paola’s thorough understanding of environmental regulations and her rigorously prepared reports are pivotal in expediting the permitting process at every level of government. She specializes in air permitting, air quality impact analyses, air emission inventories, and mobile and stationary source air dispersion modeling.

Paola possesses excellent technical and data management skills, with proficiency in environmental tools and models such as USEPA’s MOVES/NONROAD, AERMOD, and CAL3QHC/CAL3QHCR; FAA’s Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT); and CARB’s EMFAC and OFFROAD models; along with other various state and federal air emissions reporting tools.

A native of Italy, Paolo earned degrees in environmental engineering and management while studying in New York City. Today, she and her family make their home in Florida and enjoy traveling.
