When Coordination is Key
International Passenger Terminal Planning and Design
Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT) provided planning and preliminary engineering and architectural services necessary to evaluate various options for a Federal Inspection Service (FIS) facility. This includes options to co-locate the facility with the General Aviation Facility (GAF) at any of the considered sites as well as a terminal expansion to allow the international flights to use the existing terminal facilities. CMT has been conducting meetings with the customs officials and are currently negotiating the program for space allocation for three different options which include GAF facility only, FIS facility only and combined GAF/FIS facility. CMT is bringing its expertise in navigating the FAA eligibility formula for such facilities in addition to our familiarity with US Customs requirements. CMT is providing preliminary architectural and engineering concepts.
